Coworking in Guangzhou

The Cantonese trade capital and one of China's great food cities, more local in feel and cheaper than neighboring Shenzhen. Tianhe is the best-connected central base with wide furnished-1BR supply; Zhujiang New Town is the polished tower core and Dongshankou the leafy, historic middle. Domestic internet is fast, but Google, WhatsApp and the rest are behind the Great Firewall, so sort a VPN or an offshore-routing eSIM first. The subtropical summer is hot, humid and typhoon-prone; October to December is the sweet spot.

Visa

Guangzhou (Guangdong) is a 240-hour (10-day) visa-free transit port for eligible travelers continuing to a third country or region, with Hong Kong and Macau close by as onward hops. Many nationalities now also get 30-day unilateral visa-free entry, though the list changes and some passports (US included) are not on it. Neither is a work or residence visa; confirm the current rules for your nationality and route.
